F.I.T. (Found In Translation)
I thought it might be interesting to grab some stills from famous films and mix it up by using foreign subtitles. I’m calling these F.I.T.’s (Found In Translation).
I used a trial version of Corel WinDVD 9 and I’m quite happy with the result.
I like the effect that the foreign subtitles have on the finished image. [Translations are here.]
I also really like it when you end up capturing something you weren’t expecting to. Like the security guy in the Zoolander one who’s staring right at the camera, the waving man in the Ground Hog day one or the somewhat artistic composition of expression and movement in the one of The Big Lebowski.
