Love Shaun McIlrath’s point that we should be ‘fanatical’ about consumers. Although, I’ve always preferred the words ‘people’ or ‘citizens’ to ‘consumers’. I find that the latter can be cold and distant. Probably because it’s a word based in the theory of the world vs. the reality.
